Job Summary: We are on the lookout for a UI/UX Engineer eager to craft intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. In this part-time role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure the best user experience while reflecting our brand’s identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements and feedback.
- Convert user stories and requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that our applications render well across multiple devices.
- Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Incorporate feedback, iterate upon designs, and ensure that the final user interface is visually stimulating and user-friendly.
- Communicate design ideas using user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Assess and optimize the performance and responsiveness of applications by conducting user testing and feedback sessions.
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX, or a related field.
- Proven experience in crafting UI/UX designs for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong understanding of user-centric design principles and responsive design.
- Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about user interface design.
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work.
